Matilda is the Master of the Red Pen of Doom. She’s is in love with pithy dialogue and dry humor and writes urban fantasy, paranormal romance, and romantasy. Her current series, The Vespers Chronicles and the Black Cauldron Detective Agency, are undergoing rewrites and edits for release within the following year. She’s also writing a romantasy set in a world where elemental magic and technomagic are at odds. There’s a supernatural academy bouncing around in her head that will be released in late 2027.

Initially published in 2016, Matilda has traveled the country to attend comic conventions as a vendor and a panel participant. She loves discussing the writing process, her TBR, and her inspirations.

Currently settled in the amazing country of Costa Rica, she’s all about Pura Vida. She’s within driving distance of a volcano, coffee fields, jungles, and beaches. Her beta reader and cuddle buddy, the pretty Parker puppy, keeps her company throughout her adventures.
